All Gliga violins are handmade in Romania. Although we always try to keep them in stock in all sizes if an item is out of stock it can take up to 3-4 weeks before we receive delivery.
The Gliga Genial II violin is handmade in the European town of Reghin, set in the Carpathian mountain forests in Transylvania.
This famous violin-making region has been a centre of excellence for over 300 years. The Gliga workshops were opened in 1991 and one of the violins made there became a treasured possession of Sir Yehudi Menuhin.
This Genial II violin has an excellent sound and is highly suitable for a beginner, and for the player taking lower grades. It has been prepared by our in-house Luthier and fitted with Pirastro strings. The violin outfit comes with a case, a bow and rosin and is priced competitively.
